Job Title:              Operator Tech I Arkoma Basin
Reports To:          Plant Manager

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting in the operation of natural gas processing facility to ensure optimum plant performance, including monitoring operations of natural gas processing plant, product treating, and compression, making necessary adjustments, performing inspections and conducting preventive maintenance

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for plant log entries of gauges, dials, pressures, temperatures, gas throughput, liquid production, fuel consumption and other shift activities
  • Assist Maintenance and I&E Techs with routine maintenance and major projects.
  • Observe all safety regulations, operating, and maintenance procedures and Company policies
  • Complete all necessary monthly/daily/shift reports and computer work including environmental, safety, plant logs, near misses, down time and overall operation reports
  • Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on various types of plant equipment, such as engines, compressors, dehydrators, turbines, pumps, and other plant equipment; communicates findings to supervision or technicians.
  • Start/stop operating equipment such as compressors, process skids, etc.
  • Perform general housekeeping on operating and idle equipment
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of plant, equipment, and systems

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 2+ experience, preferably in gas treating/processing or have completed Process Tech School
  • Able to speak fluent English and have excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Have a good understanding of plant principles and operations

POSITION SUMMARY: To ensure the integrity and reliability of all measurement recording and control systems in compliance with company policy & procedures, applicable DOT regulations. Test, calibrate, operate, maintain, and inspect electronic flow meters and all associated measurement equipment, control valves, and relief valves on designated pipeline system or truck terminal.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain accurate measurement of gas/liquids into and out of an assigned area of the pipeline district
  • Monitor, document, and address any lost and unaccounted for gas volumes
  • Maintain turbine, Coriolis, ultrasonic, and orifice meters, and densitometers
  • Install, maintain and troubleshoot field communications backbone and end devices including spread spectrum, air link, licensed, and Internet Protocol equipment
  • Collect monthly and quarterly gas samples
  • Complete all applicable and required documentation for all aspects of gas measurement, reporting, and position
  • Responsible for proper operation and maintenance of pipeline facilities in accordance with Company procedures/policies and DOT regulations
  • Assist in cost control of pipeline operations and maintenance
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain, and calibrate electronic flow computers, gas chromatographs, moisture and H2 analyzers, control valve, and actuated valves in designated pipeline system along with other associated measurement and control equipment
  • Schedule and witness calibration of assigned 3rd party meter stations
  • Resolve issues pertaining to measurement and system balance
  • Communicate at a technical level and interface with customers, measurement, operations, and engineering groups.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 3+ years of comprehensive gas measurement experience and/or 5 years process automation/I&E and/or data communications/electronics experience
  • Knowledge of concepts in natural gas gathering, pipeline operations, gas processing, and compressor station facilities

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for maintaining equipment at the gas processing plant and the field compressor stations safely and efficiently.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs weekly, quarterly, and annual preventative maintenance of plant and field engines and compressors.
  • Troubleshoots mechanical problems due to failures or signs of failure to engines, compressors, pumps, or any other plant equipment, making repairs.
  • Perform overhauls of compressors and engines and reconditioning equipment as needed.
  • Trains and develops junior mechanics in the repair and troubleshooting of equipment, consistent with guidelines and procedures.
  • Adheres to safety and environmental policies, observing staff to ensure policies and procedures are followed.
  • Attends and actively participates in safety meetings and the plant safety program.
  • Maintains housekeeping of compressor stations and plant, as well as individual work sites.
  • Relieves maintenance foreman as requested.
  • Collects oil samples for analysis.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.

  • Must have working knowledge of electronic and pneumatic control systems for natural gas engines.
  • Must be proficient with hand and power tools to perform plant maintenance and repair.
  • Must have valid driver’s license for state of residency and be insurable under the Valiant Midstream vehicle insurance policy.

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for maintaining the plant control system, analytical equipment, and instrumentation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain facility instrumentation and controls to achieve maximum efficiency and reliability.
  • Maintain facility chromatographs and analytical equipment.
  • Oversees and supervises any I&E work performed by third party contractors.
  • Assist with planning and executing plant turnarounds including start up and shutdown procedures, equipment isolation, and scheduling.
  • Adheres to company safety policies and participate in company safety meetings.
  • Assists in measurement, maintenance, or operations as needed.
  • Participate in HAZOPs and give input on I&E portion of any new projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

POSITION SUMMARY: To support all pipeline operating functions including assist with the operation and maintenance of pipeline facilities, measurement facilities and equipment, basic instrumentation and controls, and pigging activity in accordance with company policies/procedures and DOT regulations. Responsible for the operations and maintenance of pipeline facilities, compressor stations, LNG pump stations, measurement facilities and equipment, and basic instrumentation and controls in an assigned area of the district comprising of several miles of varying pipeline sizes and associated facilities; Will be required to utilize people skills and task prioritizing skills for scheduling and at times directing contract personnel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for proper operation and maintenance of pipeline facilities in accordance with Company procedures/policies and DOT regulations
  • Maintain accurate measurement of gas into and out of an assigned area of the pipeline district
  • Coordinate, supervise, and inspect the maintenance or construction of minor pipeline facilities in district or region
  • Complete applicable reporting and documentation of key operating parameters.
  • Maintain typical pipeline equipment, basic measurement equipment, valves, etc.
  • Assist with daily pipeline operational and maintenance activities such as locate pipelines, run pipeline pigs, change charts, assist in blow downs and tie-ins, compression, dehydration, lock outs, tag outs, stop start and load compressor teaming systems, change valves and CO2 treating in accordance with DOT regulations
  • Complete appropriate documentation and reporting for inspection and maintenance, safety, regulatory, etc.
  • Assist in cost control of pipeline operations and maintenance in assigned area
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years pipeline operations and/or maintenance experience
  • Knowledgeable in operating and maintaining LNG and natural gas pipeline and station facilities.
  • Beneficial if individual has good knowledge and/or experience with cathodic protection, measurement, and/or SCADA equipment
  • Fundamental knowledge of instrumentation and controls associated with LNG and natural gas pipeline operations
  • Valid Driver’s License
